DSG has launched a new and improved cylinder kit line which will enhance performance, while reducing fuel consumption and wear of internal combustion components in large diesel engines.
Every component in this line has been designed to provide highest quality standard in the market.
We are proud to intro- duce this new line into the DSG’s offering and look forward to keep supporting you… every step of the way.
The main characteristics of the components in the new line are the following:
Piston: The CG coating on the skirt sides of the piston reduces friction, wear and improves lubrication.
Piston Rings: Made using technically advanced materials and profiled to maximize performance. In conjunction with the internal surface of the liner, the rings reduce blow by and break in time.
Piston Pin: Manufactured using high alloy steel, hardened and ground to achieve high strength and fatigue resistance.
Piston pin retainers: Designed and hardened to prevents possible damage to the piston and pin.
Liner: The MP coating highly reduces the impact of foreign particles in the coolant and increases the resistance to corrosion and cavitation. Our specific design of the plateau honing allows a smooth interaction between the liner and the DSG piston rings.
Liner Seals: The high-performance material and the specific PTFE coat- ing improves temperature and fluid resistance. It also reduces the possi- bility of spiral failures.
